Body language is a way of communication. However, people from different cultures may misunderstand the gestures they use. For example, when we nod at somebody we mean we agree with his opinion. But in some countries nodding one’s head means disagreement.
We generally think looking at somebody in the eye
shows that we are listening to him attentively, while in some districts, it is rude. People may have different body language even if they live in the same country. Therefore it is very important for you to have a good understanding of the body language there if you are in a foreign country.
