愛的價值，只是時間能夠了解

從前有一個島，所有的情感都住在那里：幸福、悲傷、知識和所有其它的，愛也不例外。一天，所有的情感聽說小島即將沉沒，因此建造小船，紛紛離開，除了愛。

愛是唯一留下來的，因為它希望能堅持到最后一刻。小島即將沉沒了，愛決定離開，她開始尋求幫助。

富有駕著一艘大船從愛身邊經過，愛說，“富有，你能帶上我么?”富有回答說：“不行，我的船上載滿金銀財寶，沒有你的地方?！?/p>

虛榮坐在漂亮的小船中從愛身邊駛過，愛問：“虛榮，你能幫助我么?”虛榮說：“不行，你全身濕透，會弄臟我的船?！?/p>

悲傷的船靠近了，愛問：“悲傷，請帶我走吧?！薄芭丁瓙?，我太難過了，想一個人呆著?！?/p>

幸福經過愛的身邊，愛呼喊道：“幸福，請帶上我吧?！彼_心了，根本沒聽見愛在呼喚。

突然，一個聲音喊道：“來，愛，我帶你走?！?聲音來自一位長者。愛太高興了，甚至忘了問長者的名字。當他們來到岸上，長者自己離開了。愛意識到長者給了她多大的幫助。

Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing by in a beautiful vessel. Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please!" "I can't help you," Vanity said, "You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat."

Next, Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, "Sadness, please let me go with you." Sadness answered, "Love, I'm sorry, but, I just need to be alone now."

Then, Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, "Happiness, please take me with you." But Happiness was sooverjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling to him.

Love began to cry. Then, she heard a voice say, "Come Love, I will take you with me." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder.

Love then found Knowledge and asked, "Who was it that helped me?" "It was Time,' Knowledge answered. "But why did Time help me when no one else would? "Love asked. Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is.
