季節 二

農作物正當季也可以用season。如 Pears are in season now。現在梨正當季。相反的，淡季用off-season或者out of season。

四季的初期，中期，末期可以用early，mid，late，也可以加上time。如springtime(春季)，wintertime(冬季),但是沒有falltime這個單詞。我們夏季還有初伏、中伏、末伏，英語里最接近的表達是 dog days of summer -夏季最熱的時期。season of the year 作為特定的季節表達，也可以說成time of year。
