中國(guó)“受污染耕地”達(dá)5000萬(wàn)畝

國(guó)土資源部副部長(zhǎng)王世元昨天介紹，根據(jù)第二次全國(guó)土地調(diào)查數(shù)據(jù)，截至去年底全國(guó)耕地總數(shù)是20.27億畝，但因部分中重度污染、部分需退耕還林等原因，只有18多億畝適宜穩(wěn)定利用，因此必須嚴(yán)防死守18億畝耕地紅線。

Farming of contaminated arable land almost the size of Belgium has been halted and the land will be rehabilitated to ensure food security, a senior official said on Monday.

一位高級(jí)官員周一稱，中國(guó)受污染耕地面積相當(dāng)于比利時(shí)的國(guó)土面積，為了保證食品安全，將對(duì)這部分已經(jīng)停止耕作的田地進(jìn)行修復(fù)治理。
