animal的四種用法

　　animal 的四種用法

　　表示動物，有以下幾層意思：

　　1. 表示與植物相對的動物：

　　Dogs, cats and monkeys are allanimals, and man is also an animal. 狗、貓和猴子都是動物，而且人也是動物。

　　Animals cannot exist without oxygen. 沒有氧氣動物就不能生存。

　　2. 表示與人相對的動物：

　　Was it a man or an animal? 那是人還是野獸?

　　Should animals be kept in cages? 動物應該關在籠子里嗎?

　　3. 表示與鳥、魚、蟲等相對的四足動物或獸：

　　The boys saw both large animals and beautiful birds in the zoo. 孩子們在動物園里既看到了大動物又看到了美麗的鳥。

　　4. 用于比喻，表示衣冠禽獸、畜牲般的人：

　　She married an animal. 她嫁給了一個畜牲般的人。
