高考英語詞語辨析：區(qū)別 accept 與 receive

　　這兩個(gè)動詞的用法既有相同之處，也有不同之處。分述如下：

　　1. receive 通常指被動地收到或接到，而 accept 則指主動地接受。如：

　　We havent received his letter for a long time. 我們很久沒有收到他的來信了。

　　She offered him a lift and he accepted (it). 她請他坐她的車，他就領(lǐng)情了。

　　比較并體會：

　　She received his present, but she didnt accept it. 她收到了他的禮物，但是沒有接受。

　　注意：有時(shí)用詞要視語言習(xí)慣而定，而不能簡單地認(rèn)為 receive=收到，accept=接受。如接受禮物說成英語是 accept a gift, 而接受教育卻是 receive an education。

　　2. 表示接見、接待時(shí)，要用 receive 而不用 accept。如：

　　She was warmly received. 她受到熱情接待。
