1.選C 根據(jù)“at a deserted bus stop ”和“catch the bus”可知,小個子的女士在等公共汽車。故選C。
.選D 根據(jù)最后一段倒數(shù)第二句“Dont go to the terminal because there’s nothing to see.”
.選A 根據(jù)第四段第二句“She seemed to well understand my pain.” 故選A。
根據(jù)“on his finger”可知,應(yīng)選C。
.選A 根據(jù)單詞“sympathy”和下一句“She seemed to well understand my pain.” 故選A。
故選A。
.選D leave sb. behind是固定搭配,意為“留下,丟棄”,此處表示“我們一到美國,他就懷著交好運的愿望拋棄了我們”,與下句“Yet how could I ________ my three children in a strange land, with no money, no relatives and a ________ heart?”相照應(yīng)。故選D。
故選A。
