The famous painter, Xu Beihong, was born in Yixing, Jiangshu Province in July, 1895 and died in September, 1953 in Beijing. He began to learn drawing from his father at the age of 9, and joined his father in selling paintings at 13. Later, when he came to Shanghai for a job, luck began to came his way,
but life was still so hard that he had the thoughts of committing suicide for several times. From 1919 during the eight years, he was sent to Europe to study drawing and he developed his own style by mixing Western art into Chinese art so he considered this time as “The happiness days in his life”. Born in America in 1929, Martin Luther King was a black man and a civil rights leader who fought for the rights, equality and freedom of black people.
