就證據或道理而言,認為理所當然,可能性大,十有八九的可能。 probable 和possible不能用人作主語,常用it作主語,可以構成it is / was possible / probable for sb. to do sth.,但不能說it is / was likely for sb. to do sth.。 三者均可以構成:It is (was) possible / probable / likely +that從句。 possible 某物存在、發生、實現的可能性很小,十有二三的可能。 likely
比probable的可能性要小,比possible要大,十有六七的可能。
