說明︰此句型意為和一樣。比較兩件東西，并表示它們的程度一樣。第一個 as 為副詞，第二個 as 則為副詞連接詞，引導副詞子句，修飾第一個 as.在 asas 中可插入單數可數名詞，即：as＋形容詞＋a／an＋名詞＋as。若是復數名詞，可用as many／few＋復數 名詞＋as；若是不可數名詞，則用as much／little＋不可數名詞＋as。as＋原級（形、副）＋as＋原級（形、副）這形式表示有關同一人（物）的兩種不同的性質、狀態是一樣程度的，譯作既有且還有。
