Twenty Dollars 二十美元

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, Who would like this $20 bill? 一位有名的演講家手里拿著一張20美元的紙幣，開始了討論會。在200人的屋子里，他問道：誰想要這20美元紙幣?

Hands started going up. He said, I am going to give this $20 to one of you, but first, let me do this. 開始有人舉手。他說：我會把這20美元紙幣給你們中間的一位，但是，先看看我這么做。

He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked, Who still wants it? Still the hands were up in the air. 他開始把這張紙幣揉皺，然后他問道：還有人想要它嗎?仍然有很多手舉在空中。

Well, he replied, what if I do this? He dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. 好，他說道，如果我這樣做會怎么樣呢?他把紙幣扔到地上，開始用皮鞋使勁踩踏。

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you. The worth of our lives comes, not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE. 無論你骯臟或者干凈，皺巴巴的或者被折磨，對周圍愛你的人來說你仍然是無可替代的。我們生活的價值不在于我們做了什么，或者我們認識誰，生活的價值在于我們是誰。
